Caroline Kidston is the Chief People Officer at Surescripts. As a member of the Executive Team, Ms. Kidston leads Surescripts’ Human Resources department, aligning the company’s business and human resources strategies, to ensure people are at the center of Surescripts’ culture, values, and success. By leading the company’s people strategy, Ms. Kidston is focused on cultivating a strong talent pool, advancing leadership platforms and training for current staff, and optimizing the organization’s human resource systems and processes.
Ms. Kidston has more than 14 years of experience with global organizations in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and technology industries, where she led organizational design, recruiting strategies and structural changes, increasing efficiencies, and creating and implementing leadership development programs. During her time with AstraZeneca, MedImmune and Genzyme, Ms. Kidston drove initiatives to build organizational infrastructure during periods of change, while developing programs to integrate and retain talent. Additionally, she created and improved diversity programs within various business units and established corporate values and missions for increased employee engagement.
Ms. Kidston holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington and studied Economics at Denison University. She holds various certifications including the Lominger Certification, GPHR (Global Professional in Human Resources) Certification and PHR (Professional in Human Resources) Certification. She is a national and local chapter member of the Society for Human Resource Management and currently lives in Washington, D.C.
