More complete medication histories in far less time

Researchers conducted a study assessing the impact of Medication History for Reconciliation in the emergency department of Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. Compared to manually recording patients’ medication histories during intake, Medication History for Reconciliation delivered histories that were more comprehensive, less ambiguous and less dependent on patient recall, staff workloads or outreach to pharmacies.
